The mission of the Basque Circular Summit 2022- "Walking the talk”, organised in collaboration with the SPRI, is to present Basque companies with new challenges and opportunities in the circular economy driven by the European Green Deal by sharing the innovative results achieved by Basque companies in the circular economy, and to introduce them to the tools, guides and manuals that the Basque Government has produced to help Basque Companies transition to production methods based on the circular economy.

Basque Circular Summit 2022- "Walking the talk” is the new name for the Basque Ecodesign Meeting (BEM), which has already been held successfully in the Basque Country four times. This new edition evolves from ecodesign to the circular economy and is aimed at an audience of Basque enterprises wanting to learn about and apply successful developments by eco-innovative companies, public bodies and administrations, Basque and international clusters and associations and regional and global agents of knowledge and innovation, among others, to drive the circular economy in the Basque Country.

Circular product exhibition

The event will include an exhibition of more than 500 products manufactured by Basque companies according to circular economy criteria

The effects and results of applying innovative circular economy methods will be presented at the Basque Circular Summit 2022, where visitors will get a first-hand look thanks to an exhibition of circular economy products made in the Basque Country that will be open to the general public throughout the international event and at the weekend.

More than 150 of these circular products from a variety of industrial sectors present in the Basque Country will appear in this showcase, from industrial machinery to packaging, as well as textiles, wood, etc... along with details of their environmental benefits. After leaving the Basque Circular Summit 2022, the exhibition will travel to different sites in the Basque Country.

Before arriving at the Basque Circular Summit, the exhibition will be open to visitors in Vitoria-Gasteiz from 30 September to 9 October.
